Our Mission The Wheelock Society is a network of Dartmouth alumni, faculty, and students seeking to learn and live the Good Life, a life that integrates faith, reason, vocation, and service, a life that is coherent, abundant, and Christ-centered. The Society exists to find new ways to help the Dartmouth community ask the big questions about truth and the purpose of human life. The Wheelock Society is grounded in the Christian faith, seeking to love God and neighbor. Our identity is well-expressed by the core values of the Wheelock House, our flagship living learning community: Courageous Exploration, Authentic Friendship, Radical Hospitality, Generous Availability, and Joyful Rest. We affirm the Nicene Creed, and are ecumenical in our approach to the Christian tradition. |

| What We Do The Wheelock Society operates the Wheelock House, a 24-resident living learning community at Dartmouth, whose members are committed to investigating and practicing the Christian tradition. The Wheelock House also hosts numerous opportunities for non-residential community members—including alumni and faculty—to gather, learn, and grow. Additionally, the Society partners with student organizations like The Dartmouth Apologia, the College’s undergraduate journal of Christian thought, and Vox Veritatis, Dartmouth’s Veritas Forum and Thomistic Institute affiliate to promote intellectual discourse surrounding faith, values, and meaning on campus. |
